We, Sonny and Greta, arrived back home safely and unpacked. We walked around the yard to a different world than we left. The snow is all gone. The daffodils and small flowers are growing as well as the bleeding hearts and tulips. It is just as if the past winter was a figment of my imagination.
Egypt is a world away from even your wildest imagination. It is a huge challenge to try to describe our two week experience of entering a world that has existed for over 5000 years and in many ways changed very little. My first thought is that there must be many things that they have been doing right for a very long time. The clue to that is shows up in little things that most often go unnoticed in our normal everyday busy world.
More to come. Good night.
