Mike had been here before and took us on a quick tour of the place. We only had an hour to spend here before we had to rejoin the convoy. I could have spend a day wondering around here.

Twists and turns let us to the roof. The stairwell was intricately carved with many scenes.

Hathor through the year...

Horace

Baboon worshiping the gods

Depictions of the crypt being created.

Awe...?Ahh...?

Chapel of the New Year-
The Ka (soul) of Hathor would have been taken from its hiding place to the roof of the temple for the significant New Year's festival celebrated where it would have spent the night prior to beholding the rising sun in a symbolic union with the solar disc.

Ankh and the staff ...life and power.

Ugly and never shown in profile this dwarf-like god looks very un-Egyptian, and he might have been imported from somewhere else, maybe other parts of Africa. He is a protector of homes and childbirth, Bes was quite popular although no temples were dedicated to him.
