Mike and I spent a week at Lake Cobbosseecontee in West Gardiner where he grew up. The lake is always a peaceful place to visit and we enjoyed the respite it provides. After traveling around the US, site seeing, and various hotels it was nice to have a bed for the week.
My niece, Maggie, came up for the week with us so we could spend some time with her before we left. I think she had a great time swimming, kayaking, 4th of July parade, party barging, jumping off the dock, riding Bey, Tally’s horse and playing with Mike’s nieces. They came down each day and were fun to have around.
Friends came up for a day and we had a great time catching up. Nancy was awesome at photographing the day!
The dock is one of the few places to catch some rays and read a book.
Loons lulled us to sleep each night and graced us with their presence during the day.
The party barge which we took out everyday is peaceful and calm. We went out for fireworks on the 4th and got to see 2 separate firework displays. They were great!
Overall had a great week and really enjoyed seeing everyone.
