We go to the house everyday, well almost everyday, life does interrupt the remodel every once in awhile.
Mike pulled up all the floorboards in the foyer after the demo crew removed the tiles. There were nails every 4 inches plus sometimes there were 6 nails clustered in one spot. Took 3 different days of a few hours each to pull this up. It was exhausting. I helped with clean up and the pulling of the easy nails. Mike did the lion's share as always!
Just need to get them sanded and polyed.
Here are some of the photos of the yard demolition. Removal of this little white metal face around several trees. And removed the fence around the tree garden and started chopping trees.
This is a collection of the fence we removed everywhere. Yes shed needs a lot of help too but that is a project for another year.
Painted some closet doors and added new hardware.

Picked out the tile for the primary bath. I said no gray but lo and behold we are getting gray. 12 x 24 Nepal Gray Porcelain Tile by Castille (SKU: 100248103 )for the floor and walls and 11 x 11 black and gray Molokai Honed Marble Pebble Mosaic by Pebblino Mosaici pebbles (SKU 100946847) for the niche with black grout. Both purchased at Floor Decor.
Had framers come and remove the rotten joists and replace them as well as add the sub floor.
30 inch pocket door to the bathroom to save space as it is a small bath.

We have also met with the tile guy, the plumber, the hardwood refinishers, the septic replacement installers, and well mitigation people.
Oh yeah the garage door also broke so Mike replaced that too. I am sure there are a hundred other things we have been doing as well. Stay tuned for more updates!
