Main Bath Possibilities

Primed the primary bedroom, hallway, dining room, and kitchen. Tomorrow we will paint the ceilings in kitchen and dining room. We will also paint the hall, dining room and kitchen wall. The walls will be banana cream. We have yet to decided our bedroom wall color.

Ed came by today and gave us some great advice about the remodel of the main bathroom. We had planned on gutting everything but the tub which we were going to refinish. A closer look and the toilet is useable as well and it is tall. He informed us that they can also clean and touch up the tile. Research begins on how this works, who does it and how much it will cost. I would like to go into a business to see the finished look before we decide to go down this path. A quick search shows it would be about $1,500 to redo the tub and all the tile. The old tile would cost time and money to remove as they are practically cemented into place. Removal would probably mean the replacement of all  the sheetrock as well.

The rest would be a new vanity, mirror and lights. Also removing the paper towel holder above the toilet, painting the walls and door and removing the wood around the window in the shower and replacing it with waterproof materials.
